Be the lover to your fears and what haunts you. Sales are all about the manner in which you are delivering your words to the customer. It’s all based on the power of communication. It’s a game of words – so play it well. In sales, “Attention” is the key to hit the targets and selling is the essence. You need to attract people by all means. Do whatever it takes to visit them, communicate with them and make a good relationship with your clients – stay consistent.

Unfortunately, in Pakistan, people are afraid to accept sales jobs because they have benchmark targets which may induce self-doubts and the fear of failure. Don’t be afraid of accepting those jobs as they have a lot of potential for professional success with the added bonus of good money. Here, we lack sales empowerment because bosses only concern themselves numbers (money) and torture their employees by threatening them with terminated. Lack of training is the main reason of lack of sales since the salespersons find it hard to interact with people effectively. Professional experience should not be considered synonymous with good training. The company executives should consider imparting valuable knowledge through conducting sessions.

Sales takes time – just as every major professional achievement in life takes time. In business one must take baby steps, slowly and gradually motivating your new employees so that they can easily reach their targets in selling and, more importantly, so that they can generate revenue for your organizations. The message to all the sales people out there is to remember that you can get whatever you want in your life. “Selling” is a pillar of the company’s revenue. It’s “you” who can get the things done to achieve your goals. The primary consideration is how much time are you giving to your work? Most of the time we think and act less – the level of our execution is 0%. According to the research you need three things to get what you desire.
